Lead Designer

Our client is a busy fast growing digital design agency based in Bournemouth town centre and they are looking for an experienced Lead Designer . You will be responsible for leading the web design projects and mentoring designers and build of outstanding web solutions. You will work closely with account managers to ensure ideas are created into fully workable solutions within the specified timescale and within budget. The successful candidate will have a degree/HND level in a related discipline. You must have a passion for digital and be prolific in producing exciting and eye catching concepts. You will need to have excellent communication skills. A high quality portfolio is a must, showing a high standard of design and creativity. You will need to have a thorough knowledge of the following- CSS, XHTML, web standards and accessibility, SEO, unobtrusive Javascript, photoshop, illustrator and other industry software, content management systems. It is important that you have an eye for detail and alignment as well as a solid understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards.

Up to £29k + benefits package DOE
