This highly branded leisure business is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Manager with employee relations and people development responsibilities to drive the strategic direction of the company's resourcing and recruitment strategy and move the Human Resource function forward in a proactive way which will meet the needs of the business. The role is mainly based from the South West with travel throughout the UK and across Europe. The starting salary for this position is c£50,000pa plus bonus and company benefits.
Job Description
Reporting to the Group Human Resource Director the Group Recruitment Manager will be responsible for all areas of resourcing across the company and ensure quality employees are recruited into the business. You will lead the human resource team to effectively deliver in three main areas - recruitment, employee relations and people development. You will proactively give advice and guidance to line managers and senior managers on employment issues, participate in work groups to support the HR strategy, implement HR initiatives in line with the HR strategy, manage the annual pay review for corporate employees, make recommendations to the Group Training Manager in terms of training requirements, and produce statistical information to ensure KPI's are monitored regularly and action taken accordingly. You will have line management responsibility for a Human Resource Advisor and a Human Resource Co-ordinator, therefore previous experience in managing a team and developing Human Resource professionals is required.
Required Experience
* You will have held a recruitment manager's position (or equivalent) within a fast-paced business
* You will have sound experience of managing complex employee relations matters and providing advice and guidance on all human resource areas to staff and managers of all levels
* You will be experienced in developing and implementing a recruitment strategy with successful tangible results
* You will be a true relationship builder and possess excellent communication skills
* You will have up to date employment law knowledge
* The CIPD (or human resource related qualification) is advantageous
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is c£50000pa plus company car, bonus and benefits.
