Welcome to our secluded Villa, with SWIMMING POOL, in Calpe, Spain. We, Ian and Karen, live here all year round, so if you need any help or advice, all you have to do is call out to us.

Apart from our meet and greet, we will leave you alone to enjoy yourselves.

Calpe has one of the healthiest climates in Europe, with around 320 days of sunshine a year.

The kitchen is open plan and perfect for all your self-catering needs. We give you a Welcome Pack when you arrive to help you on your way. Plus we can take you into town to show you where the best food shops are, and where to park.

We have a spacious open plan lounge with a double sofa bed (bed settee) and pool table.

Master Bedroom – A large spacious room with a double bed and lots of wardrobe space. Plenty of room for the cot if need be as well

Bedroom 2 – A large bedroom which has 2 single beds, with enough room for them to be separated and a wardrobe. Plus you also have enough room for a cot and space to move round.

Box Room - Room for a single bed or cot and cabinet. No windows, but there is plenty of room to put suitcases, bags etc in there instead and put the cot in either room, as there is sufficient room for all.

Potentially you could have 7 people staying at the Villa, but remember that most of life in Spain is spent being outside on the terrace, in the pool or just cooking on the BBQ. You don’t normally spend that much time inside.

The bathroom has a toilet, bath/shower, sink and mirror.

The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the villa and is not used by us when guests are here.

You have your own private porch and view of the pool, palm trees and Calpe Rock (Ifach)

Outside kitchen (traditional in Spain) which has a gas BBQ, fridge and microwave.

Facilities at our villa include:-

Balcony/Terrace/Private Garden with fruit trees (which you can pick) and most importantly, a Swimming Pool – to be used exclusively by you - lilos, floats etc. are available.

Satellite TV, Video, CD and DVD player

Pool/Snooker Table

Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer, Fridge, Freezer, Cooker, Microwave, BBQ, Kettle, Toaster, Iron and Hair Dryer.

Linen and Towels are provided.

For those feeling a little more active, we have an exercise machine, which combined with the pool, would make for an excellent keep fit routine every day.



The villa is in a quiet location, but easily accessible to town - around a 5 minute drive away. We would advise renting a car, which you could pick up from the airport as you land.
You wouldn't have to sit on a coach for hours waiting to get to your hotel. It is very easy to get to us from the airports (Alicante or Valencia). This gives you a greater choice of flights as you have a choice of 2 airports, therefore giving you a chance of cheaper flights.
Just over 1 hours’ drive and the roads are excellent in the area. The coastal roads are lovely to drive around. There are plenty of picturesque villages, making it a delight to drive here.

The nearest port for journeys to the UK is Bilbao (Santurtzi) or Santander. Bilbao is 650kms away (500miles), Santander slightly further. About one nights’ drive away.

Our villa is situated very close to Calpe on the White Coast (Costa Blanca) and placed between 2 lovely cities – north of Valencia and south of Alicante.

Beaches:- There are 2 sandy, blue flag, large beaches close by to us with all the amenities you would expect. You can get a glass bottomed boat and see all the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. Or you may fancy taking a fishing trip by boat. 10 minutes drive to the sea.

Local attractions: – Flea Market is held on Wednesdays and a large traditional market is held on Saturday in Calpe. Remember when you see those holiday programmes with markets stuffed full of local produce and people chatting away, trying the food and enjoying the pace of life, well now you can come and enjoy it too. If you feel tired, sit down put your feet up and have a nice cold drink and watch the world go by.

Maybe you fancy something else. A trip to Guadalest might be up your street. It’s a stunning old village with a Moorish castle and its many cave houses made into museums, and it was voted as one of the best places to visit in Spain. Best time to visit is early morning before the coaches turn up.

Calpe Rock (Ifach) is another excellent place to visit. A walk up it in the morning followed by a meal and a drink to recover is highly recommended and then in the afternoon, laze on the beach. Best time for walking up it would probably be early morning before the heat of the day sets in.

Terra Mitica is only a 30 minute drive from us. What is it I hear you ask? Well it is a fantastic theme park which is based around ancient cultures. They have Greek, Roman, Egyptian areas and much more. I would highly recommend a day out there. You can buy tickets in advance - 1 day, 2 days or a half day pass. The half day pass during summer is valid from 4pm until 1am (Yes you did read that right: 1am)

Benidorm Palace (as seen on various holiday programmes) is only a 35 minute drive from us and is one of a number of good nights out in Spain.

Golf (30 minutes drive)

There is so much to do near our villa that it can accommodate all tastes.

Quiet, well controlled dogs are welcome. Smoking welcome but only in designated areas. We would not recommend this villa to anyone who is elderly/infirm, as there are many steps.
