Our Client
Our client is a privately owned nursing home looking for a Registered General Nurse. They provide care for up to 30 dementia residents in a large detached property which has recently been extended. Their rooms are spaced out over two floors and they are situated on a quiet street in the area of New Milton.
Person Specification
They are seeking a nurse with experience of caring for the elderly with dementia and who has good clinical knowledge, however they are also able to take on newly qualified nurses who would like to be trained in dementia nursing care. Ideally you will need to have permanent UK residence but the home is willing to consider nurses who hold working permits. You need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to safely administer medication and dress wounds.
The shift patterns are 6 or 12 hours long and will mostly consist of daytime work with perhaps a couple of night shifts when needed.
Salary
Our client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £12-13 per hour but will consider paying a little higher for nurses with significant experience.
