Hays banking are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work in a large global Investment Bank based in Liverpool.  You will be responsible for managing and delivering a large programme of business change, helping to develop our operational processes and commercial relationships with Pensions and Offshore Bond providers. Working closing with Commercial Support, Legal, Compliance, Risk and IT functions the role will cover the following

- Maintain the project register, including the project issue, risk and actions log

- Facilitate and coordinate all meetings with key stakeholders and business and technical teams

- Work with subject matter experts to document internal controls and procedures and help develop an operational risk management framework for pensions and offshore bond business

- Help to negotiate new service level agreements with pension and offshore bond providers

- Drive forward the development of the pensions/offshore bond database and IT data links with providers

- Own a number of continuous process improvements and ensure they are implemented in a timely manner

- Produce an end of project report summarising changes delivered, the impact of those changes, outstanding risks and issues and highlighting lessons learned

- Act as a central point of contact for all project related issues

To apply for this role you must have the following

Extensive experience in working in an investment operations role



- You will have good verbal and written communication skills, strong IT skills with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office packages and have the proven ability to manage/coordinate projects and deliver business change

- Pensions and Offshore Bonds knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
