Tom White is currently looking for a .NET Developer to be based full time in Dorset for a permanent post.

Under general direction of the Managing Director, the .NET Developer's role is to participate in all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of various software applications.

The Lead / Senior .NET Developer is also required to be involved in the maintenance, support and upgrades of existing systems.

This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of standards and best practices to guide themselves and any team members when necessary.

* Design, develop and document system specifications.
* Develop and manage project and work schedules.
* Provide on-time delivery and deployment of products and services.
* Create and implement unit testing (test driven development)
* Quality assurance and code review.
* Participate in meetings workshops as required.
* Support existing applications.

* Strong .NET (C#, ASP) development skills.
* Strong web (HTML, CSS, JS, XML, AJAX, W3C, SEO etc…) development skills.
* Knowledge of nHibernate.
* Strong knowledge of Visual Studio 2008
* Proven abilities in modern enterprise architecture design, development, and deployment.
* Strong experience with SQL Server 2008 and stored procedures.
* Strong knowledge of TFS practices
* e-Commerce experience and understand online communications
* Strong knowledge of Windows & IIS.
* Knowledge of the Google API and Google Adwords.
