Urgently seeking a Community Link Worker for a temporary contract. Supporting people suffering from Mental Health issues to develop within the community.

The Community Link Worker will be required to work initially on a 3 month contract which may be extended should it be required.

- Travelling to different groups within the community and encouraging all service users to get involved with the activities e.g. alotment groups, sports groups, arts and crafts groups.
- Inducting new users to the service and carrying out risk assessments and support plans.
- Encouraging the service users to talk openly and freeling.
- Encouraging interaction with other people within the community.
- Dealing with any problems or issues which may arise.
- Spending some time in the office to carry out paperwork e.g. writing up risk assessments and support plans. Aproximately 1/5 of your time will be spent in the office, the rest of the time you will be travelling around to the different groups.


The successful candidate must have previous experience working with people suffering from mental health.
It is essential that the successful candidate has access to their own vehicle and is happy to use it for work. Mileage will be payed.
Enhanced CRB required - must be available for immediate start or on no more than a weeks notice.
