Pilates.The Best Way To Strong Abs, Back & Pelvic Floor
Endless crunchies in the gym are all very well but they only work the abdominal/stomach muscles and neglect the opposing muscle groups in the lower back. This can lead to back weakness and pain which is avoidable. Pilates was developed to give a total workout to your 'core' or 'powerhouse' mucles which form a natural 'girdle' around your middle, your glutes (bottom), hamstrings (back of upper leg) as well as improving mobility in the joints of the hips and shoulders. Premiership footballers and top class rugby players are advocates of this practice as well as dancers and athletes, so dont think it is just for the girls. Its not just for the young and slim either, any age or size person can benefit from pilates. If you want to know the benefits of a strong pelvic floor, i will tell you, but not in this advert ;-)
