Reef Encounter is a new independent bar, grill and café in the heart of Boscombe Spa Village, seconds from the new surf reef. We have already earned a reputation for our funky décor and the high quality of our modern gill menu. Our bar serves up fresh fruit cocktails, fine coffee, New and Old World wines as well as premium beers and spirits. Outside, the candlit terrace is covered and heated, with uninterrupted views out to sea. We pride ourselves on being a relaxed and friendly environment and we value our loyal local following.

Reef Encounter is a fun, friendly and exciting place to work, we work hard as a team to provide the best service and atmosphere possible! We are looking to recruit a Duty Manager / Supervisor on a permanent basis.

You will…

-Be confident both on the bar and restaurant floor
-Have some management experience
-Have a passion for good service, produce and presentation
-Lead from the front, always being prepared to take on any task.
-Have an efficient but likeable management style
-Possess excellent customer service skills

Role and Responsibility

-General Bar and Waiting Duties
-You will be a key holder and will be expected to run the bar in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
-You will at times during the day be left alone to run the front of house.
-You will lock-up the premises some evenings.
-You will cash-up some evenings.
