Strategic Hr Officer (Learning and development)

Job Purpose - to contribute to the strategic direction of the council and develop strategies relevant to the council, linked to the organisational objectives. To contribute to the organisational development of the council.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To operate as part of the strategic HR team and contribute to acheivement of Bus Objectives, Undertake research and make recommendations for the provision of short/medium/long term skills development strategies taking into consideration local and regional requirements.
contribute to the developments of effective workforce planning, maintain an awareness of external influences and trends,
Build and maintain a network of contacts with external bodieswho can provide advice and guidance on relevant issues. Further responsibilites on full job description.

CIPD or equivelabt required

Thisis a temp position for 6 months, 37 hours week on a pro rata salary of £28, 172.
