Volunteers needed The Grange Leonard Cheshire disability

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to The Grange Cheshire Home and make a real difference to the quality of life for residents. We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team in the following roles:

Volunteer drivers
Volunteer drivers make a huge difference, enabling residents to get out and about and to access community and leisure facilities. If you have a full drivers’ licence and can spare a few hours or more each month, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Volunteer to accompany to pub
Our residents enjoy going to the pub for a social drink and we are looking for volunteers to help facilitate this. If you could spare a few hours a month going for a drink, please get in touch.
Volunteers to help with computers
The grange has residents who enjoy spending time on there computers and always looking for new skills in this area from basic typing to web pages ever learning the insides of a computer.
Volunteers to help with fundraising
The grange is always looking for ways to fundraise we need volunteers to help facilitate this with ideas and people to make these ideas work.
Volunteer to accompany to theatre /concerts/cinema and church
Our residents are looking for volunteers who enjoy theatre, concerts and church to accompany them to these events.
Volunteer in our Respite department
The Grange has a Respite department that provides activities for clients on short stays. Respite are currently looking for volunteers to help with art/craft projects, computer tasks, playing games and accompanying people on outings etc. If you are interested in giving a few hours a week to help in this area, please contact us.
Volunteer in our charity shop
The Grange has a charity shop in Ashley Road, Parkstone, who are always looking for volunteers to help run it. If you have a few spare hours a week and enjoy meeting people, please contact Helen Aggas at The Cheshire Box on 01202 744206 or why not pop in the shop?
Use your own skills
If you would like to volunteer your own skills that you think our residents may find an advantage, please let us know about them.
