Experienced PC Support, Installation / builds / repair technician and IT Trainer, with over 30years experience of the IT arena. I am looking for either Fulltime, Part-time or Contract work.

Over the past 30 years I have worked in all areas of the IT environment. I have worked directly, and as a Sub-contractor, for companies ranging from Airlines, Financial and Medical services and the MOD. I pride myself on being able to communicate effectively, at all levels, in the Private and Public sectors. I work well as a Team Player whether is be under pressure or using my own initiative. I find it easy to adapt to any demands placed on me, on any occasion, and I will always see tasks through to completion. I hold a Full UK Driving Licence, with no endorsements and a Full UK Passport.

I have extensive first hand experience of:
MS NT4 – Server 2003, (Some knowledge of SBS and Exchange Server).
MS Windows 98 – Vista and several versions of Linux
MS Office Products and Open Office.
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Medical Systems (CAMIS, PEAK etc.).
Accountancy Systems (Sage, QuickBooks etc.)
EPOS and Retail Systems, BACS and Banking Software.
Hardware & Software Procurement, Licence / Asset management and control.
Project Management.
Staff Management.
Field Support & End-User Training
Data systems communications, including Cabled, Satellite and WiFi.
Data recovery / retrieval
Data destruction to MOD / NATO standards.
Access Database writing, (for financial and medical applications etc.).
Viral detection / removal and prevention systems, (Sophos, McAfee’s, Norton etc.).
CIEH Health & Safety - Level 2.
CIEH Risk Assessment - Level 2.
CIEH Principles of COSHH - Level 2.
Red Cross – Appointed Person - 1st Aid Training (4day course).
