Construction Site Manager Dorset
We are looking for a Site Manager in the Dorset region with proven experience in a similar role working within the commercial development sector. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects with a value of up to £5 million and taking them to completion on time and within budget. Excellent communication and people management skills are necessary as this position involves dealing with a number of site staff as well as clients. Experience is also required in budget development, liaising with architects and consultants and the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate should be interested in expanding their career with a leading regional contractor.
Duties:
* Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating all aspects of projects.
* Assisting in developing projects at the early stages
* Bring projects in line with budget and timeframe
* Ensure all work is up to client spec
* managing costs incurred on site including project billing
* Quality checking
* Dealing with billing and accounts on completed work
This is a permanent position which is not likely to be available for long and is an excellent opportunity for career progression and skill development.
