High Basic £ +, Excellent OTE (depending on experience) + car allowance + contributory pension + excellent benefits.
We either require a results-driven, experienced and highly motivated sales professional from the IT industry to work within our successful team selling IT infrastructure solutions and services to SME and Medium-Sized businesses or depending on the type of candidates that are in the job market at the present time ranging from an entry level Account Manager, but with previous experience selling I.T infrastructure or perhaps a ‘technical specialist’ but looking to make the move into sales.As a member of the account management team, you will manage and develop a number of existing accounts but also be expected to identify and win new business opportunities to grow your customer base.
However, the ideal candidate will:- Have excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure Solutions and extensive experience of selling them face-to-face across all industries.- Be able to demonstrate past sales achievements, giving evidence of success in account development and new business won and of having met or exceeded sales targets set.- Show experience of developing new business opportunities from initial contact through to the close.- Be results-driven and determined to put in the effort to achieve personal success.- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the potential benefits of innovative IT solutions to business and the ability to communicate this at all levels.- Demonstrate excellent customer care skills- Have a good understanding of and ability to communicate the benefits of current server infrastructure technologies and solutions. (e.g. Microsoft Server 2008, Virtualisation, Networking Thin Client Computing, Data Management and Storage Solutions)
