We are currently recruiting a C/C++ programmer for a new opportunity within our design department.

The Software Engineer will be expected to adopt a primary software architect role within the company, working with the Technical Manager and programmers to design code and contribute to technical design documents, implement, debug and maintain existing code and provide technical help to customers.

Essential Skills:
Experience of Microsoft Visual C/C++ environment, MFC, and .NET
Design of software algorithms and programs to interface with and control embedded products and test equipment, primarily on a Microsoft Windows environment using PC hardware
Writing of test software and procedures
Development of APIs

Useful additional skills sought for the role:

Development of communications interfaces
Writing of embedded firmware (ARM7, ARM Cortex M3)
Use of “Subversion” version control system
Experience with writing Windows Drivers (Primarily USB)
