Evening and Weekend Mother’s Helper

Evening Mother's Help required to assist full-time mother of 4 friendly children in busy family house.

Flexible hours – 3, 4 or 5 evenings per week (your choice), including one morning and one evening at the weekend. Same evenings every week once agreed.

This is a very busy job and although we already have a cleaner, there is a lot of housework, eg:

cleaning up kitchen and dining room,
tidying and organising,
ironing and laundry,
getting children ready for bed,
vegetable preparation,
general housekeeping,
supervising children’s homework,
odd jobs.

The job is probably 70% housekeeping and 30% childcare. It is NOT a babysitting job.

£7 per hour.

M-F Evenings: start work around 4.30/5pm (variable)
Finish work between 8 - 9pm (variable)

Weekend evening: start work at around 5/6pm for about 3 hours

Weekend morning: start at 8.30/9am till around lunchtime

School holiday hours: usually start and finish 1 or 2 hours later, although possibility of plenty of time off during Xmas and Easter hols.
