Our client requires a Floating Support Team Leader working within the supported housing division of a large housing association based in Poole and across Dorset.

This is a vital role supervising a small team working with and enabling residents and service users to gain and sustain their independence within the community. Your role will be to take the lead in this important customer service role ensuring that you and the team provide a responsive and effective first point of contact and ongoing relationships with prospective and current service users and external agencies. You will often be the face of the organisation to those you meet and you will be required to ensure that the team's responses are always professional, customer focused, effective, efficient and appropriate to service users' needs.
 
You will ensure that the team works with residents and service users to develop and review support plans which enable them to maintain their housing and develop their lives within their communities. You will ensure that the team creates effective links to other agencies, signposting and supporting. You will need to be an effective supervisor who is an organised, goal orientated and a flexible person, who is able to support staff, act as a role model and ensure that resident and service users' files and information are maintained to a very high standard. You will also carry a caseload and work autonomously within the community while maintaining clear professional boundaries at all times.
