This is a real career development opportunity for an ambitious 2nd Chef for well known busy New Forest pub close to Ringwood.
The pub provides fresh, home cooked food using local produce carrying the New Forest marque and can service up to 400 covers daily in high season. Occasional functions are also catered for.
The successful applicant will have a Hotel or busy Pub background, be able to work independently, under pressure and provide cover for the highly regarded Head Chef.
A minimum qualification of NVQ2 plus 4 years experience is required.
Applicants must be qualified to work in the UK and live within sensible travelling distance.
5 day split shifts plus seasonal straight and splits. Average 40 hours per week.
5 weeks holiday. Uniform. Internal and external training provided.
References will be required.
Competitive salary in range £18-20k depending on experience plus bonus.
